Will my child have to wear a uniform?

No, pupils can wear their own clothes as long as Health & Safety throughout the school day /  within school activities is not compromised. Full details of what is appropriate school wear are featured in our Parent Booklet as part of the pupil placement plan.

What time does the school day start?

Pupils need to be on site by 8.45am daily. The school day finished at 3.15pm. We have 7 lessons of 45 mins across the day.

Are there dining hall facilities on site?

Unfortunately, we do not have catering facilities on site, parents /  carers are required to provide lunch for pupils each day.  We cannot re-heat pupils' lunches due to food health and safety.

Can my child be given a place at Cardrew Court school without an EHCP?

All pupils at Cardrew Court School must have an EHCP. This needs to be in place before any admission request / consultation takes place.

Will my child be able to use their mobile phone in school?

No, mobile phones will be collected from each pupil on arrival and held securely until the end of the school day. Should a pupil need to contact home, school staff can facilitate this.
